Games Workshop just dropped the motherload of card info for the upcoming Warbands in Shadespire. Come see our favorites from their list of new upgrades and warriors for Magore’s Fiends and The Farstriders!

The Warriors

Almeric Eagle-Eye showcases what you can expect with those deadly Boltstorm Pistols. 3 Range, 3 dice and one damage is powerful enough to soften-up targets, but he gets the inspired by being in enemy territory.

Ghartok Flayskull is another mean combatant and he gets inspired by successfully attacking an enemy. Seeing as how you want to do that anyways, I feel like that’s going to happen pretty much all the time.

Riptooth has Cleave right off the bat – if you don’t know what that can do, let’s just say it’s going to be bad for you and a buddy.

Upgrades And Abilities

Shardgale is down right dirty. Just flat-out cause 1 damage to all fighters. You could use this to pick-off weakened fighters, or you could launch this attack at the start just to make everyone feel a little more on edge for the rest of the round.

My Turn is a great counter-play card. Not only do you get a free move out of it, the fighter also gets to attack as well. This can help a fighter get out of a messy situation and possibly flip it on your opponent.

This Boltstorm Pistol not only swaps out swords for hammers, it also packs cleave! That alone is a worth the price of admission.

Concealed Weapon is another card I think that will sneak its way into many decks. All of a fighters Range 1 attacks get an extra +2 damage on a critical hit. That makes even a pesky Skaven attack turn deadly. And for a powerhitter like a Stormcast, that can mean a one-hit kill in most cases!

The Final Katophrane Relic

One last teaser card here from us – it’s Katophrane’s Gloves. If you manage to collect all 6 relics and get them on a lone fighter not only will you have a freaking BOSS of a warrior, you can also auto-gain glory points. Seems pretty powerful…better make sure you catch’em all!

There were a TON more cards previewed, but if you want to see them you’ll have to watch Games Workshop’s video from their Twitch Channel. On the plus side, it’s about an hour long and they go over the cards in pretty good detail and offer up some tactical tips & tricks as well. If you’re a fan of Shadespire it’s worth the time to check it out!

Magore’s Fiends and The Farstriders are coming your way – It’s time to head back into the cursed city of Shadespire!
