More Mordenkainen, or if you prefer, Moredenkainen today. We’ve got a whole array of artwork straight from the inside of the book for you today. Courtesy of Sage Advice, there’s a ton of monsters on parade. Come see this magnificent menagerie of monsters old and new. I’m personally excited to see the Giff back in action.

First up: a friendly aberration who just wants to not exist anymore.

You seriously don’t know how happy it makes me to see Giff in their full Spelljamming uniforms and everything on display in this book. Very excited to see some arquebusiers get out there and do what they do best.

 

There’s also this wintry Eladrin, doubtless with icy arrows and other fey powers. Expect teleportation, mobility, and freezing foes in place to be the order of the day here. That and cold damage.

 

Oh hey it’s the Drow Matron Mother out of Mordenkainen’s Mayhem. That silken robe she’s wearing is woven of the finest spider silk (possibly drider silk), and she is a potent combatant whom you can find in action fighting a Nightwalker, speaking of which…

The all-consuming manifestation of night and darkness is shown here with a human “friend” for scale.

 

 

Maruts are back in a big way, along with some of the other inevitables. I really dig their new art style–they are much less muscular 90’s comic guy and much more clockwork manifestation of some inevitability.
