‘Ere we go! Episode 26 is live in iTunes. In this episode, Adam is joined by an Olympian and 40K player to discuss mental preparation, and the difference between going for the early kill, or playing the long game.Steve Prefontaine was a bit of a phenom. The stars aligned nearly five-decades ago so that an athlete so counter culture, so counter the running world, would end up on the front pages of magazines and the front of races all over the world. This was during the midst of the running boom on the 1970s. Pre, as he became known, was brash in his words and his running style. It was a style that no other athlete could emulate because it was pure Pre. It was his game. I use Pre as an analogy for my 40K process, as I attempt to win Warzone: Atlanta, and I sit down with Olympic Rower and 40K player Ruben Knab to discuss and discover what it means to play my game.
