Warhammer 40K

Wrath and Glory’s Pre-Sale has opened up, and after a day or so of the servers needing ministrations from a Tech-Priest it seems like the campaign is finally starting to hit its stride. Come take a look.

Wrath and Glory is the 40K RPG. You’ve seen it, you might even have seen us play it on our Twitch channel with the guy that wrote it. It’s an interesting look into the world of 40K–we know that Ulisses has been working closely with Games Workshop’s lore department to make sure that their setting gets fleshed out in an official capacity. So you might get some nice canon reveals to the lore inside. And right now, you can pre-order one of the fancy deluxe or limited leather-bound copies of the rules as well as secure a whole bundle of bonus material that’ll be rolled out over the next few days.

As we mentioned, you can pre-order everything right now. And by everything I mean everything. There are two bundles, the basic bundle, which is only (only) a hundred dollars that gets you the basic book, two card packs, and a set of 5 dice. Which doesn’t seem like that great of a bundle, but you do get the exclusive to the pre-sale limited edition cover of the book. You can, at any rate, the bundle lets you choose between normal, deluxe, or limited.

Or there’s the fancy Black Leather version as well. Both of the covers are embossed in gold:

Deluxe – Bound in distinctive red leatherette with a specialty gold-embossed cover. It has the same quality paper, binding, and two ribbons as the other two versions of the Core Rules.

Limited – This version of the Limited Core Rules is exclusive to this Pre-Order opportunity. It will never be offered again. This Limited version is hand-bound, hand-embossed black leather. Unique to this edition are the added metal corners and two special bookmark ribbons for a total of four.

Even so, that’s a fairly basic bundle–but even the basic bundle gets you access to the slew of bonus materials they’ll be rolling out over the course of the sale. It’s a little sparse at the moment, with just Blessings Unheralded their “quickstart” packet that comes with maps and tokens and all, announced. But you can track what else gets added to the bundles to see what all they add right here.

You get far more with the All-In Bundle, which gives you pretty much everything they make.

  • Core Rules (Hardcover/Deluxe/Limited)
  • Talents and Psychic Powers Card Pack
  • Gear Card Pack
  • 10 Wrath & Glory Specialty Dice (9 black, 1 red)

The official release is set for GenCon, but in the meantime, be sure and stay tuned to see what else gets added to the pre-order bundles.

And not long after the release, an Aeldari themed campaign supplement will be released as well.
