Titans towered over everything at Forge World Open Day, but not far behind are the gangs and characters of Hive Primus on Necromunda. Come check out new weapons, characters, and gangers.

Now House Cawdor has a storied and troubled history. It begins when King Duncan executes a rebellious traitor and awards the title of Thane of Cawdor to his loyal general and then Thane of Glamis, Macbeth. But this is problematic because Macbeth receives a vision of glory from a trio of Witches, proclaiming that he shall one day become king. So armed with a future that seems within his grasp, Macbeth sets forth to murder King Duncan, and in so doing sets himself on a path of madness, murdering sleep, becoming a brutal tyrant who seeks to stamp out opposition wherever he sees it, be it real or imagined. And it all comes to a head when the Thane is killed by a man not of woman born.

Since that time, House Cawdor, has come to be called the House of Redemption. It’s one of six Hive City Houses in Necromunda‘s Hive Primus, known for its rigid adherence to the Cult of the Redemption, though the connection to the Cult’s outlawed crusades is one their leaders are careful to minimise. This mysterious House is perhaps the second most populous after House Orlock.

All that goes in to the development of these minis–check them out.

You can really see the effect that the murder of Banquo has had on their chief up there.

Note how he seems to be staring at something unseen–a dagger perhaps, handle pointed towards his hand.

All the while, his servants and soldiers look on concerned. Also there’s Kria the Huntress, who is a totally sweet House Escher character, and looking great all painted up.

And finally we have a look at the weapon upgrade kits from Forge World. These add some needed oomph and firepower, so that you don’t need to bring Birnam Wood to High Dunsinane to eke out victory over the Thane of Cawdor. You can just use some plasma, if your the Van Saar:

Or if you’re in House Cawdor, perhaps you’ll use one of these.

Either way, prepare for things to get incredibly dramatic and bloody in Necromunda.

There seems to be a spot of paint on one of my minis. Out, damned spot! Out I say!
