Geekery: Sarah Connor Returns in First Look at New ‘Terminator’ Movie
Linda Hamilton is reprising her role as the badass robot hunter in the next film in the franchise – and she looks awesome in the first photo Paramount has released.
It was announced in September of last year that a sixth movie would be added to the franchise. While I’m not exactly wanting a new Terminator movie it’s nice to see Hamilton back in Sarah’s shoes… sunglasses and tactical gear. She’s joined by Natalia Reyes (Cumbia Ninja) and Mackenzie Davis (Halt and Catch Fire) in this first photo. Not sure what’s up with the scars on Davis just yet.
The movie is being directed by Tim Miller of Deadpool fame. He also has a writing credit along with a large, mixed writers room that have worked on everything from Batman Begins to Green Lantern Corps and Chain Reaction (you know you’re getting up there when you don’t have to look up what that one is). Arnold Schwarzenegger will also be returning in some capacity.
The new movie, which has yet to be titled, is currently under production and will hit theaters November 22, 2019.
