The First Order, Resistance and a little tad of Scum & Villainy get revealed by FFG. Take a look at the new ships.

Hot on the heels of the big three factions rolled out fro X-Wing 2nd Edition, FFG pulled the covers off the anticipated First Order & Resistance conversion kits and some initial ships for both factions. We even get a little Scum & Villainy ship courtesy of REBELS.

First Order

First Order Conversion Kit $29.95

As you might expect from the successor to the Galactic Empire, the First Order fields a variety of starfighters based on classic Imperial designs. Far from simply rehashing these older ships, though, First Order fighters feature a number of refinements that give them the edge in their fight against the loathsome Resistance. The First Order Conversion Kit makes your First Edition versions of these ships immediately available for use in your X-Wing Second Edition squadrons.

Within the First Order Conversion Kit, you’ll find everything you need to strike fear into the heart of the Resistance and take your squad into the future of X-Wing, including a wide variety of new ship cards and tokens, including some of the most celebrated pilots in the First Order, such as Major Stridan, “Backdraft,” and Kylo Ren himself. These pilots are accompanied by more than one-hundred upgrade cards and new maneuver dials for your TIE/fo Fighter, Special Forces TIE, TIE Silencer, and Upsilon-class Shuttle ships, giving you plenty of tools to bring back the glory of the Empire.

TIE/fo Fighter Expansion Pack $19.95

Developed using technologies pioneered for the Empire’s TIE Advanced program, the TIE/fo fighter is a shielded, mass-produced TIE fighter that the First Order can use to spread terror across the galaxy.

The TIE/fo Fighter Expansion Pack includes one fully assembled and beautifully painted miniature and all the ship cards, upgrade cards, and tokens you need to add one of these frightening fighters to your First Order squadrons. The strikingly detailed, pre-painted TIE/fo fighter miniature in this expansion is accompanied by twelve ship cards—including nine unique pilots—and five upgrades, giving you all the raw power you need to begin rebuilding the Empire.

Resistance

Resistance Conversion Kit $29.95

The Resistance is the only line of defense against the rising tide of the nefarious First Order. Like the Alliance to Restore the Republic before them, the pilots of the Resistance often find themselves outnumbered and outgunned. Fortunately, the Resistance has some of the most advanced starfighters from the entire Star Wars saga at their disposal. With the Resistance Conversion Kit, your First Edition versions of these ships can be added to your X-Wing Second Edition squadrons right away.

This kit contains everything you need to upgrade your Resistance ship collection from the First Edition to the Second Edition, including pilot cards, upgrade cards, and ship tokens. Amongst the new ship cards and tokens, you’ll find new versions of Resistance heroes like Poe Dameron and Rey, each ready to bring their unique abilities to your custom-built squadrons. These pilots are complemented by over one-hundred upgrade cards that you can use to customize your squadron to fit your play style. Finally, this conversion kit gives you plenty of options for rounding out your Resistance squadrons, containing enough maneuver dials to convert three Resistance Bombers, three YT-1300s, and four T-70 X-wing fighters.

T-70 X-Wing Expansion Pack $19.95

Upgraded for maximum tactical flexibility, the Incom-FreiTek T-70 X-wing can equip a wide variety of astromechs, weapons, and other customizations preferred by individual pilots. These heroes of the Resistance Starfighter Corps have used their X-wings to great effect in countless missions against the First Order.

In addition to the beautifully detailed, pre-painted miniature, the T-70 X-Wing Expansion Pack contains twelve ship cards, including nine unique pilots, six upgrade cards, and the tokens, base, pegs, and maneuver dial you need to grow your Resistance forces. Additionally, this expansion contains a few entirely new cards not seen in the first edition. These cards and associate punchboard are also included in the Resistance Conversion Kit for the benefit of veteran players.

RZ-2 A-Wing Expansion Pack $19.95

The main interceptor of the Resistance, the RZ-2 A-wing by Kuat Systems Engineering is the natural evolution of its predecessor. With field-tested refinements integrated into its design such as incredible maneuverability, reversible laser cannons, and precision ordnance, mastering this craft is a challenge worthy of the greatest aces.

With six ship cards—including four unique pilots—and five upgrade cards, plus the maneuver dial and tokens included in this expansion pack, the RZ-2 A-Wing Expansion Pack gives you everything you need to stand toe-to-toe with the First Order’s best!

Scum & Villainy

Mining Guild TIE Expansion Pack $19.95

The Mining Guild’s collaboration with the Empire gives it access to state-of-the-art Sienar Fleet Systems technology, including modified TIE/ln fighters. The removal of two solar panels reduces the craft’s power output in exchange for a much-needed boost to peripheral vision when weaving through treacherous asteroid fields.

Within the Mining Guild TIE Expansion Pack, you’ll find everything you need to supplement your own mining operations and keep the profits flowing. Six ship cards—including four unique pilots—are ready to take the controls of the beautifully detailed, fully assembled Modified TIE/ln Fighter miniature. Meanwhile, five upgrade cards invite you to further customize your Mining Guild TIE to suit the unique needs of your Scum squadron. Rounding out this expansion are a maneuver dial and all the tokens you need to experience this classic starfighter in a whole new way.

~I like the tricksy Mining Guild TIEs.
