Has the Rumor Engine become self aware enough to take a selfie? Check out the GW Rumor Engine for this week and judge for yourself.

It’s that time of the week when GW drops another preview of an upcoming model on the internet and we all take our best guesses as to what it is. This time, GW has let the Rumor Engine decide for itself…

And just for reference, here is the “joke” from the 500 facts post:

Fact #331 – The Rumour Engine has yet, as far as we’re aware, to show a picture of itself. It’s said that should that happen, the Rumour Engine has become self-aware and humanity would be doomed.

So either today is the birth of Skynet and we’re all doomed…Or maybe it’s just a teaser for an upcoming miniature and we’re all going to be okay. For now.

So what could this possibly be a teaser image for? My gut reaction is Adeptus Mechanicus because MACHINES:

These dials are probably part of Imperial Machinery – but what if that machinary has been re-purposed by another faction…

Just a thought…

What do you think? Is this even Imperial Tech? Let us know your best guesses in the comments!
