UR-025 is an autonomous robot that definitely isn’t plotting against humanity, but just to be on the safe side, he’s how to make it look real snazzy.

Greetings friends, we’ve got a further look at the Blackstone Fortress for you today–only from a slightly different perspective. Today we’re going to look at how to make one of its heroes look their level best. The Man of Iron itself, UR-025.

Now, as befits a robot made of composite metals, a composite paint scheme is the order of the day. Get that pallid, ancient metallic look layer by layer. There’s a surprising amount of color in the grays and whites. But where the biggest spalsh of color lies is in the power claw…

Again, there’s more subtlety to this than you’d expect a day-glow orange claw to have, which is pretty cool. The Blackstone Fortress explorers are a great place to practice painting details up, so grab your brush, grab your minis a mb d get to it.

Happy Painting!
