In better anime related news, Netflix is adding even more anime titles to its collection – including an exclusive deal to stream the full Neon Genesis Evangelion saga.

Evangelion debuted in 1995, and is considered one of the most influential anime. The series is beloved by several generations of fans. It’s been tough to find all of the episodes legally in the US. Now Netflix will have all 26 episodes of the series, and Evangelion: Death True and The End of Evangelion. You’ll be able to binge watch starting next spring.

Tokyo 3 is under attack by creatures known as Angels. Shinji Ikari has been chosen to fight by piloting the Humanoid Decisive Weapon Evangelion – the only way humanity can fight back. As the battle rages the secrets of the Angels begin to unfold. The story has a heap of religious imagery, and while it reveals the fate of the young pilots it digs into themes of existential dread and what it means to be human. It’s an unforgettable story.
