Games Workshop has a new Rumor Engine out and you’re going to want to put on your thinking hats for this one.

It’s that time of the week so everyone get ready for some bad puns and a whole lot of educated guessing. GW, take it away:

Here’s a Rumour Engine for you to get your teeth into – we’ve scaled new heights of secrecy in bringing you this one…

Oof. Okay let’s just get right to the guessing shall we?

My gut reaction is Lizardmen Seraphon. Anytime we’re talking about Scales and Teeth, I feel like that’s where we should probably start.

Looking at their product line they have some cool big kits, but they have some older models that are popular but could certainly use a refresh as well. I’m thinking of Salamanders specifically.

New Kroxigors, Skinks and Saurus Warriors would all be nice however. And hey, since the Seraphon are supposed to be the “Order” version of Daemons now (no seriously, look at their keywords) and Daemons are getting some love on the Chaos side, it would be nice to see Order finally get some attention. It’s not like they every get any new models or entire sub-factions updated for Order or anything, right?! (Note: that is sarcasm.)

But hey, maybe this is just a distraction and we’re actually seeing the results of the Primaris Protocol gone horribly wrong. Those are the mutated failures and rejects that didn’t make it through the process! Think of it – Lizard-Marines!!!

Oh whoops…we already have those. Back to the drawing board I guess. Wait, what if the Primaris Protocol unlocked some dormant genes INSIDE the Salamanders and these are the Death Company/Wulfen version of Primaris specifically FOR the Salamanders!? Yeah – now we can still have Lizard Marines, but this time with 100% more actual lizards!

You’re welcome GW. I’ll take payment in the form of a free Lizard-Marine Army.

Alright, that’s my guess – anyone else? Let us know in the comments section!
