The Genestealer Cults just got ANOTHER new vehicle – come check out the brand new reveal of the Achilles Ridgerunner!

Maybe it DOES pay to join a cult – at least the Genestealer Cult, that is! They are getting even more new toys with a new buggy dubbed the Achilles Ridgerunner:

Achilles Ridgerunners are traditionally employed by mining guilds and geological surveyors as exploration vehicles. Their pilots range into hazardous frontier environments to scan for promising resource deposits and communicate their location back to base.

Although not specifically designed for military use, like so many of the utilitarian machines favoured by the Genestealer Cults, these rugged vehicles have proven remarkably effective as outriders and scout vehicles.

That’s pretty cool! Check out some of the new hotness:

A Scout’s Vehicle

The Achilles Ridgerunner has some special tricks up their sleeve. Aside from the Mounted Mining Laser and Heavy Stubbers, this vehicle also comes with the Scout Vehicle Rule:

Who wouldn’t want a free bonus move at the start of the game. On top of that, it also comes with some support options. For example, it can come with the Flare Launcher which adds some survivability and utility in one package:

That’s not all – this vehicle comes with quite a few options to boot. The Flare Launchers can be swapped out for a Survey Auger which strips the enemy of cover or you can have a Spotter that extends your weapon ranges for the vehicle:

The Mining Laser can also be swapped out for a Missile Launcher OR a Heavy Mortar:

The Achilles Ridgerunner has the makings of becoming another multi-purpose utility vehicle and it’s one more feather in the cap of the Genestealer Cults!

Is that where the Orks got the chassis for all those new buggies…Makes ya wonder!
