The Genestealer Cultists who form Starn’s Disciples are a cunning bunch, and none more cunning than Ghyrson “I Have Three Guns” Starn, the gunslinging hero of the Genestealer Cults.

Today it’s time to take a look at the other new Kill Team Starter Set coming out this weekend alongside Kill Team: Arena–Starn’s Disciples. These Genestealer Cultists are a band of resistance fighters who have struck a blow against tyranny across Vigilus, led by Ghyrson Starn, the famed outlaw. Come take a look at their rules, and get an idea of what Starn will be capable of in 40K proper.

Ghyrson Starn is a special unit type called a Kelermorph.

This means he’s a crack shot, and has access to the special Liberator Autostubs–three pistols that pack a powerful punch, and doubly so in the hands of Starn. First here’s a look at the gun.

It does 2 damage base, and in Starn’s hands hits on 2s. This makes him particularly deadly if he can get off his shot–Starn is especially deadly if he can manage to get into a group of enemies, thanks to a special Stratagem:

Blaze of Glory lets you unleash your inner Grammaton Cleric/The Last Starfighter and fire at everyone nearby while looking cool and stylish.

And you’ll want to unleash this death blossom attack as often as possible, because every time you take a model out of action, your nearby models get to re-roll 1s to hit.

So Starn packs a mean punch, and works even better when his buddies are around. But numbers have always been a big part of the GSC and that plays into the Stratagems these guys can unleash, including their new Sector Fronteris stratagem:

All in all, this looks like a pretty quick hitting-quick killing Kill Team. They are fragile enough, being GSC, so you’ll have to leverage careful positioning and numbers to your advantage, but, they know how to turn the tides.

Here’s a look at all the miniatures:

All this, plus new exclusive cards/tactics and terrain in the starter sets available this weekend.
