Friday Odds and Ends
Hi guys,
We have had a dearth of news this week. It would seem we are in a bit of the doldrums as GW shifts over the Fantasy Dark Elves release window. Here a few little things we have going on.
Apocalypse
Yesterday we had a great 50,000pt Apocalypse Imperial vs Chaos down here in Austin and it was fantastic. Expect a battlereport coming soon.
Army of Death Minidex
On the mini-dex front, mkerr is putting the final finishing touches on his upcoming Blood Angel Army of Death list. He’s been polishing it up for 5th and it is looking good. Keep an eye out as it won’t be long now.
Macharian Update
You can also expect one final version of Macharian Crusade any day now. As we are really getting into the swing of things as we ramp up for the Fall 2008 Crusade, we just had to tinker with some things we have gotten a lot of feedback on. We promise this upcoming version will be the last until we have to update it for the new IG codex coming sometime next year.
Lords of Battle Update
As he is wrapping that up, I’m filling my no-news time with an update to our Lords of Battle Apocalypse book. A lot of new apocalypse items have been released along with 5th so its time to go back and update that one for you guys.
Website Upgrade
You can expect a website overhaul coming up soon. We have noticed that we now have enough archived content it is getting difficult to access a lot of it, particularly for newcomers. We are almost ready to roll out a new updated BoLS that should really help in that department.
Macharian IC Challenge Deadline Approaching
We have gotten a good amount of entries into our latest BoLS modelling challenge, so try to get you entries in by Monday if you can. I will putting all the contestants up for voting next week.
~I would be most appreciative if you would take a little time to glance at Lords of Battle and let me know if there are any major issues you have with individual units, or more importantly if there are any specific units you would like us to add from the old epic days.
