Model Review: Maxmini Evil Heads

2 Minute Read
Dec 7 2011
Warhammer 40K

Maxmini has a nice set of heads that I used for my Chaos Renegade Militia IG army.  I used them for my Penal Legion unit.  Heads sculpted by Igor Karpov.

Rating Scale:
1 toof -Far below average (rare)
2 teef – below average but not terrible (below average)
3 teef – Average, fair, a good deal all around (average)
4 teef – superior to most of the products out there in either price, quality, etc (above average)
5 teef – Extremely high value or quality. (rare)
So if I rate something a 3 that does not mean its bad, not good, etc.  That means it is on par with other kits out there, most likely on par with current GW kits, FW kits etc.
Quality:  The quality of the sculpts is top notch.  No mold lines, no air bubbles, just nice clean bits.
4 Teef
Value:  I feel these bits are a great value if you are looking to add a little evil to your IG army.  There are 10 differnt heads so that each figure has a unique distorted face.
4 Teef
Look/Feel:  I love the look and feel of these figures.  They work perfectly for my CRM army.  I am thinking of getting another set for another unit.  They fit the Cadian torsos very well as well as other after market torsos out there.
5 Teef

As a point of clarification the head on the center  picture here is from another head pack,  Fallen Legionaire Heads, which I also like but not as much as the Evil Heads.  The arms are the CRM arms from Forge World.
