WARLORD: Rorke’s Drift Boxed Set and Zulu Madness!

2 Minute Read
Dec 4 2011

We love a virtuoso idea, taken from fever-dream inception all the way to the shelves…

I’m from Texas, and I understand the love and romantisism of the heroic last stand.  We have the Alamo here, and the UK has the Zulu Wars.  When Warlord Games sent us not one but two sprues labeled:

MARRIED ZULUS
UNMARIED ZULUS

We thought “what’s the difference”, then studied the sprues for 5 minutes.  THEN I said, “Hey, these guys are up to something…”

Of wifes and hairstyles…

So imagine my excited glee when I saw this baby wheeled out before the crowds:

Laser-cut wooden Storehouse building with ‘teddy bear fur’ thatch.

Resin biscuit box barricades (2 x 6″ sections)
Resin biscuit box/mealie-bag barricades (3 x 6″ sections)
