After Action Review

I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again; I LOVE having access to the PHR command deck. The amount of punishment they can dish out, just with cards, makes the faction interesting to play. They pay for it with limited (and slow) Scouts and Command units, but in the end I think the visceral power of the cards makes up all the difference.

This game was largely an experiment for my opponent, as he tried the arms race against the PHR. The battle between our heavy hitters was truly awesome to behold, and I only wish I had deployed my Odins there to help put down some of that terrifying power. In the end, almost everything that engaged was reduced to burning wreckage.

The Hades once again showed off its stuff, and I’m reminded why I include one in every list. That thing was in the heart of the armored inferno, and thanks to command cards and his own healing abilities he came out completely free of damage. Worse for the UCM, he slagged the vast majority of their armor that went down. The ability to deny open areas is amazing, but you have to be very careful about where and when you engage. If he can’t see, he is just too slow to get there in time.
