All hail the glory of Sigmar! The Stormcast Eternal Prosecutors descend for us mortals to see in the round!

Sigmar’s winged champions are gorgeous minis indeed.  I think these are the most aesthetically pleasing of all the Stormcast Eternal range.  They have fantastic posing and are elevated quite high off thier bases on the flowing parchments – befitting flying models.  If only models like CSM Raptors had that type of posing!  The wings are distinctive and unlike any other wings GW has done before from another range.  They are neither too large, nor too small and fit the Prosecutor’s body size well.

The main thing this kit gives you is a giant selection of weapon options, from hammers to swords, axes, glaives, shields, and even tridents.

The officer clampack is somehow even more elaborate and take the “bling to 11” for the Stormcast range.  The little touches on the officer models such as the glowing lantern and the bird are visually well done.

Regarding price, to me these just seem a bit steep at $60 for 3 models.  That’s the kind of pricing a venerable and reliable franchise like decades old 40K can support.  We will see how well 10 week old Age of Sigmar can hold up such rarified air of pricing. Still GW will tell the world they are a model company first and a game maker second – and these are certainly stunning models.

4 out of 5 stars
