Dark Millennium

Take a trip to the Retro Corner – return with us to The Dark Millennium. Behold the 2nd Edition Expansion that brought Psykers to the tabletop!

Hey BoLS Readers! AdamHarry back with another Retro Corner Review – join us as we hop in the BoLS way-back-time-machine and pull out a classic from the archives! This is NOT for the canceled Warhammer 40,000 game of the same title. Oh no,  We’ve got a copy of the Dark Millennium sourcebook and it’s a good-one. That’s one of the reasons it’s so nice to have physical copies of books – they don’t get deleted, they just get old! Luckily, our archives are in pretty good shape and so is our copy:

This book contained all the rules and info for Psychic Powers in Warhammer 40,000 2nd Edition. It also had a detailed breakdown of each of the races powers and a few psyker units to ago along with that. Dark Millennium was a literal game changer when it came out. The psychic phase became one more layer to the onion that was 2nd Edition. I still remember those old force cards and the decks you had to use when playing. Good times. Time consuming and complicated – but good times none the less!

What was your favorite memory from the psychic shenanigans of Warhammer 40,000 2nd Edition?
