AoS: Seraphon Battletome INBOUND!
Looks like Games Workshop was saving a treat for Halloween – The Seraphon Battletome!
Well this was a bit of a surprise. We had an idea that Lizardmen Seraphon were getting a new book, but we were not expecting a Limited Edition book so soon. And it looks as if all of Space Lizards are coming your way, too!

Older than memory, existing for aeons unrecorded, the seraphon have ever waged an unending, savage war against Chaos. Descending to strike a vengeful blow against the Dark Gods as the Age of Sigmar dawns, they seek to bring order to the Mortal Realms. Summoned by the incredible power of the Slann Starmasters, they materialise from the energy of the stars themselves – nimble skinks, predatory saurus and hulking kroxigor, each intent on destroying the forces that have corrupted and darkened the realms almost beyond repair. Wrought of purest star-magic, the seraphon are true beings of Azyr.

While I’m glad to see some AoS action that doesn’t involve Space Marines Stormcast Eternals vs Chaos, I’m a little surprise they decided to squeeze this release in the middle of two major 40K releases. We haven’t heard a peep about AoS since summer and suddenly we get the Seraphon Battletome (and ALL the units) coming at once. I’m amazed this flew under the radar for as long as it did! The new battletome looks really nice and I’m actually looking forward to read-up on what they have been up to since the death of the Old World. How did they survive? Where have they been hiding? How much do you have to pay to park one of those floating temples?!
