X-Wing: C3-P0 Coming to the 2016 Season!
One of the hardest to find cards in X-Wing is going to be getting a lot easier to add to your squadron.
The new 2016 Store Championship packs have started to ship out from FFG to stores around the world: Here’s the official FFG press picture for it:
But the big reveal is this shot from Spikeybits that shows the Championship special alternate art cards – and it is no other than C3-PO.
This will be a big deal as C3-PO is only available in the $99 Tantive IV Huge Ship box, and goes for a lot of cash on the secondary market. Here is everyone’s favorite etiquette and protocol droid:

Once per round, before you roll 1 or more defense dice, you may guess aloud a number of evade results. If you roll that many evade results (before modifying dice), add 1 evade result.
So basically he’s an insurance policy to guarantee you always get at least 1 evade (guess zero). But players didn’t like having to cough up the $100 bucks for him. Look for these to start showing up all over the place, so start thinking about how you’re going to use the shiny dude in your squadron.
