GW: Blackout Date Mystery – Another Day Solved!
Still wondering about those mystery blackout dates from Games Workshop? Well we just found a BIG clue!
Do you remember those blackout date rumors from awhile back?

“A mate of mine passed along that GW has blacked out the following dates for their store employees: Feb 28, Apr 16, and May 7th. I assume that means big releases on those dates.”
We already had the Feb 28 day – which was the Deathwatch Release. But check this out:

The date is plain as day in the text:
“…Space Marines are turning 30, and we’re going to celebrate, with events in all of our stores on 16 April.”
That’s right folks April 16th is going to be a very special SPACE MARINE Celebration Day! From the sounds of it the Games Workshop Stores will be running special events, giveaways, and have exclusive new releases! This event is just over a month out so I wouldn’t be surprised if the GW stores are going to find out more really soon.
Also, I wonder what those giveaways will be – at least it could be fun to go to a local GW store and visit that day. It’s always fun to spend some time with like-minded hobbyists & players and to commemorate the Space Marines together. Perhaps we’ll trade war stories about our Space Marines or talk about our first Space Marine Army (everyone has at least ONE). Here’s to you, Space Marines – We look forward to the celebration!
