Hey all, Bahkara here for another week of reviews!

We are starting to see the first reviews of Warmachine Mark3 and a look at Age of Sigmar’s General’s Handbook and Sylvaneth book! So, let’s get on with it!

Garagehammer Episode 147 – This episode clocks in around 4 hours but is probably the most comprehensive of the podcasts that are reviewing the latest Age of Sigmar book, Sylvaneth Battle Tome. Dave , his son, and Alex take a look at the background, the story up to that point, the individual unit entries and models. As always they provide excellent coverage of the latest battletome and is a good listen f you are looking into starting an Age of Sigmar army and these models interest you.

Independent Characters Episode 136 – A very nice and informative episode about what it takes and what you need to do to have a good shot at becoming an author for Black Library. They talk with three different people with the company, author Guy Haley, who talks about how he became an author, author Justin Hill about his experience with the company since he was already an established author, and Nick Kyme, one of the gatekeepers, on what they look for in new authors. You should listen to the episode if you want a good shot and becoming the next author for Black Library.

Masters of the Forge Episode 57 – This week the guys continue their look at some of the second founding chapters, this time looking at the Blood Angels successor chapter, Flesh Tearers. With special guest, Chris Morgan, from the Forge the Narrative podcast, they go over the history of the chapter during the Horus Heresy. They discuss the details of their first chapter master in those early day and then talk about their current fluff. They then talk about the different rule, characters and formations available to them in the game. Its a nice piece to listen to if you are looking to play a Blood Angels army but maybe looking for something other than Blood Angels.

Forge the Narrative Episode 151 – With his Horus Heresy book coming out, Gav Thorpe is really hitting the podcast circuit. They discuss the new book, his writing, his early days at GW, working his way up the ranks, and how he left, then came back, to GW. Although Gav has put himself out there recently by appearing on a number of podcasts, this one was a bit different in that they delve into a part of his history not mentioned too much in other interviews.

Signals from the Frontline – Always a good listen for new and rumors on 40K and other miniature games in the industry.

Also Out This Week.
