Age of Sigmar: A New Hero Approaches

GW is teasing an Age of Sigmar mystery this upcoming weekend – but what is it?

GW’s Age of Sigmar page threw up this guy today:

“The Mortal Realms is ever in need of heroes, and soon there will be a new one.”

Ok, I think that is clearly a Stormcast Eternal.  While we don’t know what it is, we know what it isn’t.

It isn’t the Warhammer Fest Limited Edition Errant-Questor.

It’s also not exactly a Knight-Vexillor or a Lord Castellant, but seems closer:

It’s not an exact match for either and the standard or staff is something we haven’t seen before. It seems closer to the Castellant though.  The staff is the real interesting thing, and has some thinking this might be a magic-user.

It’s been a decent stretch of non-stop 40K releases for us, so a slight pause to return to Age of Sigmar will be a nice change.
