Like to argue? Then you’re going to LOVE Superfight…

The Tabletop Spotlight is on Superfight – the game about absurd arguments. Our buddies at Dragon’s Lair Comics & Fantasy brought over this instant-classic and it’s a ton of fun:

Superfight is a game that’s all about ridiculous situations. The basics of the game are that at least two players each present a Character card and an Attribute card. You then randomly draw one more Attribute card and apply it to your “Character” card. After you’re done laughing at your new “creation” you must then argue why your creation would win this fight vs the other character that your “friend” has played. It is as ridiculously easy as it ridiculously ridiculous.

The full rules are actually on their website HERE. The fun part about this game is that there are LOTS of different ways to play and ways to determine how your “character” would win. In some variants you actually play cards on the opposing character to see if you can make them weaker. In some cases you might do a team-up fight against a “super character” with 4 attributes in a wild 2v1 fight. Really, these rules are just basic guidelines – the fun comes from trying to explain to your friends/opponents why your character should win. Because let’s face it, you love to argue about why your rocket powered T-Rex with lightning breath will crush Abraham Lincoln, even if he has razorsharp claws extended from his hands and laserbeam eyes… Hey, it could happen – and DOES happen – in Superfight!

SUPERFIGHT is a game where you argue with your friends over ridiculous fights. The game is very simple. It’s fun for all levels and kinds of players. The main deck consists of 500 cards, split between character cards (white cards), and powers and weaknesses (black cards). These cards are used to create fights like this: A KINDERGARTEN CLASS THAT BREATHES FIRE AND IS WEARING JETPACKS vs. A PIRATE SWINGING A SHARK ON A CHAIN AND RIDING A SEGWAY. As you can imagine, the arguments over who would win the fight are epic and hilarious.

Watch out for those fire breathing kindergarteners…
