Another company returning to Kickstarter this week is Red Box Games, who are expanding their line of Nordic-inspired 28mm metal miniatures. This campaign includes 25 new adventurers wielding a variety of weapons, including swords, axes, javelins, and bows. The miniatures are $8 each, or $125 for the entire set.

Pandorum by Cosmodrome Games

In Pandorum, four players control rival mining corporations that have converged on an inhospitable but resource-rich planet on the edge of known space. Each player starts with a Harvester, a massive vessel that acts as a colony ship, a resource gatherer, a refinery, and a constructor all in one. Build up the planet’s infrastructure and establish mining sites to gather and refine the planet’s resources. Research upgrades for your Harvester to improve its performance with a modular player board. The most basic pledge is $49 and includes the standard version of the game. The $57 version includes a mini expansion, and the $115 pledge comes with upgraded components and a laser-cut wooden organizer and storage box.

Robin Hood and the Merry Men by Final Frontier Games

Robin Hood and the Merry Men is a semi-cooperative board game where players control the legendary hero thieves of Nottingham. Assign your Merry Men (workers) to different areas of the board to lay traps, gather resources, or purchase gear and equipment. Build barricades to prevent carriages loaded with taxes from getting to the castle, then launch raids to steal loot, rescue prisoners, or take out the Sheriff’s guards. While players will have to work together to fight the Sheriff and his forces, they are also competing to score the most VP and become the greatest champion in Nottingham. You can buy your copy for $54, or grab the deluxe version for just $10 more.

Edge of Darkness by AEG

Finally we come to Edge of Darkness, the latest board game project by AEG. The grand city of Aegis is under constant siege by a malicious force known as The Blight. The city’s defenses are managed by four rival guilds constantly vying for power. Recruit agents and heroes to send on missions in your battle against The Blight. Draft cards each round and use the game’s modular upgrade system to craft new enhancements. Gain reputation with the city’s populace, defeat The Blight, and ensure that your guild comes out on top as the ultimate power in Aegis. Pledges start at $60.
