Games Workshop has shown off quite a few models from the new Nighthaunt range. It’s time to put some names to faces using the list from the General’s Handbook.

We got our copy of the General’s Handbook 2018 early and noticed that there were quite a few Nighthaunt units listed that DIDN’T have models yet. But after the big reveal yesterday, we decided it was safe to show off the unit list and play a game of connect the dots.

From the General’s Handbook:

Here you can see all the entire Nighthaunt army list. Again, there is a points difference here in the General’s Handbook vs the Core Set. You’ll just have to wait until this weekend to get your hands on those points. You can also see the unit sizes are slightly different but the key take-away is that we can go unit-by-unit and see who’s-who with the models that have been spotted.

Chainrasp Horde

These are the Chainrasps from the boxed set. I’d be on the look out for them to get a full release that’s probably going to be a box of 10 set. Let’s call it a hunch.

Black Coach – New Model

The reveal trailer (see below) showed off this SWEET re-sculpt of the Black Coach. That’s the reason I didn’t suggest picking up the old model in my list of units you could get started today from last week.

Dreadblade Harrow

These models are the new fore-runners of the Nighthaunts. They lead the charge and are going to pop-up to annoy your opponents.

Guardian of Souls – 3 variants

This is another key unit. We’ve seen the rules and those explain the extra variants.

One with Lantern and Sword

One with Hand-held lantern/hour glass with axe/maul option.

Knight of Shrouds on Ethereal Steed

In the boxed set and it’s a great model!

Kurdoss Valentian, the Craven King

The Hero Reveal showed off all the rules for the three new Character Kits and they are all cool models and are going to bring the pain (or grief) to your enemies!

Lady Olynder, Mortarch of Grief

This model is pretty mindblowing. I can’t wait to get one!

Lord Executioner – 2 models

The Lord Executioner has two models that we’ve seen. The one above is in the boxed set while the one below was only teased. Be on the look-out for this model soon enough.

Riekenor the Grimhailer

This one may be my new favorite. I’m impressed with the base but I’m in love with the mount.

Spirit Torment

In the boxed set. We’ve seen this model’s rules as well and it’s going to be handy to have around!

Bladegheist Revenants

This is the one unit that Games Workshop has been keeping under wraps. We haven’t seen any pictures of them on the web or in the background of videos/pics yet. However, we know they look similar to the Grimghast Reapers but are wielding two-handed Swords. The closest we could find was this art from the new Battletome cover:

Now that’s probably just a member of a chainrasp horde – but the art shows them holding a Two-hander. It’s not exactly the same but it’s pretty close. I guess GW is trying to save a few surprises before the big reveal.

Chainghasts (With Spirit Torment)

The Chainghasts are pretty cool as well. Their attacks can get pretty bonkers when they are in the thick of things.

Dreadscythe Harridans

Harridans? These aren’t Tyranids…wait, they have Hormagaunt like claws and are undead banshees?! Oh my.

Glaivewraith Stalkers

Ghost Skaven? No…but maybe? Whatever – they are in the boxed set and are getting some new push-fit models.

Grimghast Reapers

Wraiths with Scythes coming to cleave your soul from your body – what else can you say?!

Myrmourn Banshees

Another upcoming Push-fit kit. These models are ghost corsets with daggers and claws. Be afraid!

Endless Spells

Games Workshop also teased the new Shyish-inspired Endless Spells. This makes an excellent addition to your Nighthaunt forces.

Mortalis Terminexus – Hourglass

Shyish Reaper – Scythe

Vault of Souls – Scooby-Doo box’o’souls

Soul Wars has the first wave of models – be on the look out for more soon after!
