I played 5 really challenging games using the ITC Champions missions last weekend. After nearly maxing points in round one, I faced two of the best players in the Southeast back-to-back. We’ve talked a bit about how often times the big match-ups happen in the earlier rounds, and how many times whole events are dictated based on random pairings earlier in the tournament. While I’m not going to take the liberty to say that is what happened this weekend, but it definitely was a new experience for me. Playing a heavy favorite, round two.
