Today we’re taking you inside the newly released Ork Codex with a look at some of the new and improved lore you can find ensconced within. See what the Greenskin boyz have been up to since the Great Rift opened in the Galaxy.

By now we’ve all seen the new Buggies for the Ork Codex. We’ve seen the leaked rumors, the confirmed rumors, the rumored rumors, and by the end of the week the Codex will be available to one and all. But did you know you can find more than just rules in the Codex? It turns out this book is chock full of Lore as well. Whether it’s an update on what Ghaz is up to these days, or a look at how the Feral Ork Life Cycle–which isn’t also an amazing new vehicle–plays out, you can find out what you want to know about everyone’s favorite followers of Gork and Mork.

Unless someone out there knows of some other, non-orky followers of Gork and Mork–though I imagine the Orks would still pull out ahead in that situation too. At any rate, in the Lore video above we take you through what the Orks are up to. Just a brief tour of the galaxy. Of particular interest to the ongoing narrative of 40K seems to be the idea of the Orks forming a Great Waaagh!

This seemed inevitable from the fluff. After all, nobody seemed to be able to stop Ghaz, and it was only a matter of time before Mork or possibly Gork rewarded him for his success while punishing him for his failure. And now that the Orks are getting a move on across the Galaxy–seriously, you should see the green spreading across the map–it seems like it’s only a matter of time before they come rushing headlong into a contest to see who can be the greater threat to life in the Galaxy. Orks, Chaos, or Tyranids.

That’s it for now, but we’ll be back later with more lore you should know.

What do you think of this new, semi-unified Ork menace?
