ICv2 has released their numbers from Fall of 2018, and it turns out the king of miniatures games is undisputedly Games Workshop, with its products sitting high astride the rankings, beating out X-Wing and Star Wars Legion.

The numbers are in, according to ICv2’s Internal Correspondence #95, and when it comes to non-collectible miniatures games, Games Workshop is the champion, with both Age of Sigmar and Warhammer 40,000 topping the charts. Age of Sigmar beating out X-Wing is a surprising development, but not half as surprising as who comes in at number 3, WizKids’ Nolzur’s Marvelous Minis, a line of high quality Dungeons and Dragons miniatures that are ready to be primed and painted–proof that D&D is truly everywhere in this day and age. At any rate, here’s a look at the Fall 2018 rankings according to ICv2.

No word if this includes things like Kill Team and Necromunda alongside 40K, or Underworlds alongside Age of Sigmar, but either way, it feels like there’s a lot of interest in the worlds of Warhammer. And with GW moving into what feels like Phase 2 of 8th Edition, now that the factions have been released, it’ll be interesting to see how the game changes and grows. However, with the top two spots filled by Games Workshop, and D&D edging on in, we’ll put it to you:

How would you keep 40K and AoS sitting at the top? What could be done to unseat them? Have at it in the comments, and let us know!
