Accompanying Battletome: Blades of Khorne are some pretty stellar new minis, and a bunch of good (fire-breathing, spell-eating, demonic) dogs who are ready to be unboxed and reviewed for your amusement. Come and see Khorne’s new favorites.

Today we’re unboxing the new Khorne miniatures. We’ve got a look at the new Skulltaker plastic mini, aka the most Warhammer model of all time, we’ve also got Khorne’s new Herald, Bloodmaster, and the new sculpts of the Flesh Hounds and Karanak. Come join us as we unbox the Blades of Khorne!

We were pretty impressed with these miniatures. Khorne has always been a favorite around the BoLS offices. The new miniatures have a lot of style and panache–and are painful, as you can see in the unboxing. All of these are available for pre-order now. It’s nice to see Karanak out in the wild, available individually outside of Wrath and Rapture, accompanied by his faithful flesh hounds. Skulltaker and Bloodmaster are two powerful characters, who synergize so well with Bloodletters of all shapes and sizes.

Of course, this won’t be the last we see of the Daemons. With Shadowspear out, and Vigilus Ablaze down the line, Khorne’s forces are cooking up a lot of trouble for the Grim Darkness of the distant future as well. The Bloodletter Bomb is getting a lot more brutal. We’re excited to see what else comes for Khorne and Chaos as a whole. There seems to be a lot going for them as the Black Legion’s forces start gearing up for battle in earnest. For now though, it’s enough to see these amazing new miniatures make their way to the Mortal Realms. And as we have shown you, they’re a great addition to anyone’s collection.

Enjoy folks–and be sure to let us know what you think of Khorne’s new friends in the comments below!
