Meet next week’s new releases–it’s a Chaos Cavalcade with the Dark Apostle, Master of Execution, and Chaos Lord out of Blackstone Fortress.

Chaos is everywhere, Dr. Ian Malcolm is having a field day, and GW is too busy thinking about whether or not they COULD release new characters, that they didn’t stop to think about whether or not they SHOULD.

And now Chaos is getting three more characters that are sure to break out of the enclosure, kill Dennis Nedry, and spawn at least one sequel that everyone wishes they hadn’t seen. That said, they do look fearsome, let’s take a look.

via Warhammer Community

First up, the Dark Apostle, who will be unleashing the Dark Prayers for Dark Gifts for your Dark Army.

You’ll also be able to get your hands on Obsidius Mallex, aka the Chaos Lord model out of Blackstone Fortress as an individual miniature. As far as Chaos Lords go, he’s pretty gorgeous.

Just strap a jump pack on there and you’ve got a great candidate for a Chaos Smash Captain.

Finally we have the Master of Executions, who would very much like to Axe you some questions.

This guy has one role, and one role only – slaying enemy leaders. Once he’s within their ranks, there’s little that can stop this gore-soaked champion from finding (and slaying) his prey, making him great for close-combat focused Legions like the World Eaters and Emperor’s Children.

All three of these will be available for pre-order next week from GW’s store or your favorite friendly local game shop. The Master of Executions looks pretty brutal–couple that with the other heavy hitters that Chaos has in their toolbox, and it looks like they’re going to be in a good place come tournament season.

In the meantime, let us know what you think of these heretical new heroes!
