We’re continuing our look at the Index Astartes series. We’ve already gone through both Volume I and Volume II. So let’s dive into Volume III:
Index Astartes Volume III continues the series with a look at the 10th to 15th Legions (and naturally it skips past the missing 11th Legion – we don’t talk about them). That means it covers the Iron Hands, World Eaters, Ultramarines, Death Guard, and Thousand Sons. It also has two more articles which cover the Tyranid Invasion of Ultramar and the history of the Land Raider.
This book follows the same format as the others – it goes through each legion and covers their history, colors, battle tactics, their war cry and more. If you’re a fan of any of the Space Marine Legions, this entire series is a wonderful trip through the lore and well worth it!
