Today we talk about list design.  We talk about how to detach yourself from the things you want to have in the list and boil it down to the things you need.

Hey,

Thank you all for listening and your support.  We have a couple of t-shirts up for sale on Teespring. Please check them out.  After a lot of thought, I decided to do a pilot run on this service. Please check them out here. Please also consider leaving us a five-star review in whatever service you listen to the show. I’ll read every five-star review on air.

In the first part of the show, we chat about our real-world science and the first pictures compiled of a black hole 55 million light years away. It’s crazy to think about but also something that gives a good perspective in life.

In part two get down and dirty with army list design. We talk specifically about an Ork list but then more generally about how you make sense of all the options that an army provides. It’s easy to get distracted by the shiny toys and the things we think we need… I’m as guilty as anyone else.

I play the Wouldn’t It Be Cool If the scenario in my head and look to pull of unrealistic combos or thin efficiencies during the game.   That adds up to taking losses. We don’t want that! Hopefully, this chat helps you take an objective look as well.

Coming up at the end of the month a few of us will be at the Barnyard Brawl. I’m happy to be a sponsor of this event and will be playing. The Wrong Way Kids will be putting on their first official public event later this year the Armageddon Series: Coastal Assault. Tickets are up for sale right now. Please join us. You will have a good time. It will be a full ITC format event and an excellent opportunity to get ITC overall and faction points.

FTN mostly focuses on Warhammer 40k, but again you will see in the first few episodes we take a severe deep dive into nerdom. These have been a blast to record and I hope they help pass the time for you.
