The ultimate heresy is at hand–Renegade Knights are arriving next week, bringing an arsenal of devastating weapons to the Ruinous Powers.

Nothing says ultimate corruption like a Knight turned to Chaos. It is a forsaking of sacred oaths, of fealty sworn (and also forced by the holy mind-impulse units/knight thrones) and broken. And more importantly of titanic weaponry turned upon its creators in the service of the Ruinous Powers. Yes that’s right, Chaos Knights are here at last, bringing the best of the best to the baddest of the bad. What evil torments will these tiniest of titans unleash? There are at least two new models coming with this release, so probably a  lot! Let’s dive in.

First up is a new codex, featuring all of the background and rules for Chaos Knights alongside specific Stratagems and Warlord Traits.

You’ll also be able to declare your traitorous Fallen house as either Iconoclast (those who follow a twisted code of chivalry) or Infernal (those sworn to the Dark Mechanicum) and select Pacts and Damnations for your Dreadblade Knights. A new model kit is also on the way, which will let you build your choice of Knight Desecrator (a mid- to close-range powerhouse) or a Knight Rampager (a frenzied close-combat butcher).

Both of these are built out of the same kit, and what a kit it is. You can see the beastly legs in this construction, as well as enough spikier, more evil looking plates of armor, skulls, and more. Chaos truly corrupts everything it touches. Whether you build your knight to be Dark Mechanicum or Daemonic you’ll find this next kit, as well as all the datacards that you could want.

The new Knight Codex and its kit are out next week, so be prepared to see some Knight on Knight action around your tabletop in the next few months. What do you think of the release? Let us know in the comments.
