It’s that time again – I’ve got more news than I have posts in a week. Get a first look at GLOW and Rob Zombie’s latest horror movie. As well as some interesting casting and directing hires, and some sad cancellations.

GLOW Season Three – drops on Netflix August 9
“Ever the team cheerleader, Ruth’s passion for the show begins to take a backseat to her growingly complicated personal life. Debbie is making headway as a producer, but continues to be consumed with guilt over the distance between her and her son. As their residency wears on, the lines blur between performance and reality, and the cast find themselves struggling with their own identities both in and outside of the ring.”

 

Charlie’s Angels – in theaters November 15th
“With the world’s smartest, bravest, and most highly trained women all over the globe, there are now teams of Angels guided by multiple Bosleys taking on the toughest jobs everywhere.” Directed by Elizabeth Banks; stars Kristen Stewart, Naomi Scott, Ella Balinska, and Patrick Stewart.

 

The Good Liar – in theaters November 15th
“Career con artist Roy Courtnay can hardly believe his luck when he meets well-to-do widow Betty McLeish online. As Betty opens her life and home to him, Roy is surprised to find himself caring about her, turning what should be a cut-and-dry swindle into the most treacherous tightrope walk of his life.” Directed by Bill Condon; stars Ian McKellen and Helen Mirren.

Frozen II – in theaters November 22

Teen Titans GO vs Teen Titans – on digital and bluray, release date TBA
“In Teen Titans Go! vs. Teen Titans, the comedic modern-day quintet takes on their 2003 counterparts when villains from each of their worlds join forces to pit the two Titan teams against each other. They’ll need to set aside their differences and work together to combat Trigon, Hexagon, Santa Claus (that’s right, Santa!) and time itself in order to save the universe.”

Onward – in theaters March 2020

3 From Hell – release date/method TBA
The final installment in Zombie’s Firefly Clan trilogy. Directed by Rob Zombie; stars Sheri Moon Zombie, Sid Haig, and Bill Moseley.
