Still here? Okay – on to the madness!

The nights of Arkham are stretching to unnatural lengths and its citizens are lapsing into torpid sleep. Even in daylight, the city is muted and dull, the sun never fully cresting the unknown mountains on the horizon. The moon never sets, and at times casts a greenish hue, revealing unfamiliar stone buildings and rocky alien promontories, as though the landscape of Arkham overlaps some other place. Even worse, strange creatures are seen on the prowl – shapeless black monstrosities and flying clawed humanoids haunt the dark streets of Arkham.

Time is of the essence – can you beat the clock and stall the followers of this creature from beyond long enough to stop whatever ritual they have in store or will you find yourself as the main course of this ravenous sleeper?

This scenario looks like it could escalate pretty quickly. As an investigator team, you’ve really got to hammer those clues out before the doom picks up on the scenario sheet. It’s quite possible that one bad turn could result in disaster – or at least the codex advancing in an the “wrong” direction…

And speaking directions, this map of Arkham will have you stuggling to plan your moves effectively. There is only one way into Northside and one way into Uptown. Should you be unfortunate enough to have clues spawn in both neighborhoods, you’re going to have to really plan your turns to cross those distances effectively. I hope you bring someone with some wheels or other movement tricks up your sleeve.

The Mi-Go Are Coming For You-Now

This scenario also adds some brand new enemies and they are truly otherworldly. The Mi-Go are a race of strange creatures that are out on the streets looking for fresh victims for the feast – and you’re on the menu!

The Grasping Fungus Mi-Go attacks your equipment which is going to prove costly. While the Cerebral Extractor has some not so subtle plans for your brains…

Mi-Go Braincase? Oh boy…I do NOT want to know what’s in that box.

There is a whole lot more to this scenario as it even uses a whole new nomaly deck, too! This one promises to be a pressure-cooker of a mission. Fight the clock and monsters to save Arkham from destruction one more time…if you dare!
