Games Workshop’s latest Rumor Engine is here and it’s exactly what it sounds like.

Alright folks, I’m just going to lay this out there – I’m stumped. Have a look for yourself at the latest Rumor Engine.

The Rumour Engine is fickle and seems to revel in withholding as much information as it reveals, but it’s got one really endearing quality – clairvoyance. Take a good look at what it’s got to show us this week.

It’s a pair of tassels bound by chain-links to a spike/spear-tip. It looks pretty ceremonial so maybe this is part of a flag staff/pole? I really have no idea on this one. It’s certainly ornamental in nature and so I would assume it’s probably something for the Imperium. Then again, maybe it’s something more man-made. The Cities of Sigmar book is supposed to be coming soon(ish) right? What if this is something from the army formerly known as the Empire?

Like a terrain piece perhaps? We’ve seen all the new style books come with at least new terrain and endless spells. I don’t think this bit would fit with the Ironjaws aesthetics.

Hey what about us!?

Anyhow, I’m turning this one over to you internet. What do you think this new bit could be – I’m very curious to get your feedback on this one.

Just don’t be a flagpole sitta!
