With two new battletomes and a boxed set, next weekend is a big release for the Age of Sigmar. New undead, new ogors, there’s a lot to love here.

The Feast of Bones is about to begin, which is a fitting name for a new boxed set that pits all-devouring ogres against a skeletal menace, called up from Nagash’s shadow to reap a dark harvest of bone and sinew. With this latest wave of bones, we’re also getting two new Battletomes, bringing us the Ossiarch Bonereapers and the Ogor Mawtribes, and alongside them two new terrain pieces and a host of new miniatures. Let’s take a look!

Feast of Bones is a truly epic boxed set, packed with miniatures that let you fight fierce battles between the Ogor Mawtribes and Ossiarch Bonereapers. On the ogors’ side, you’ll find six Ogor Gluttons, two Leadbelchers, an Ironblaster, and a brand new Tyrant, while the Ossiarchs march to war with ten Mortek Guard, three Necropolis Stalkers, two Morghast Archai and Vokmortian, Master of the Bone-tithe.

This set is your first chance to get your hands on the Ossiarch Bonereapers with Vokmortian currently only available in this set and the Necropolis Stalkers and Mortek Guard being released shortly after. It’s also your first opportunity to grab the Ogor Mawtribes Tyrant!

What a fantastic looking Ogor. Definitely ready to chow down on some skeletons, or whatever else should cross their path. Accompanying this boxed set release you’ll also find the bew Battletomes and incredible terrain pieces for both armies.

The Ossiarch Bonereapers have been teased for months now with a swanky animated trailer and everything. Their new Battletome promises rules that “reward strategic positioning” but, more importantly, their Terrain looks just awesome.

That’s the Bone-tithe Nexus, and it will smite your enemies with a thousand bones.

The Ogor Mawtribes are also getting a Battletome, with all the usual suspects: updated allegiance abilities, new spells and lore, that beefy new boy up there, and some terrain all their own.

We’ll doubtless be back over the next week with a look at what makes the see e factions tick, so check back for more.

In the meantime, get ready for the feast!
