Braham Stoker’s classic horror tale is coming to the small screen thanks to Mark Gatiss and Steven Moffat – and it looks appropriately bloody.

The creators are claiming that this adaptation will be true to the classic novel set in the late 1800s. The mysterious, blood-drinking count from Transylvania arrives in London to carry out nefarious plans and drive a couple of folks to madness. The short teaser isn’t holding back on the more gory aspects of the story…

The three-episode series has a good team of creatives behind it. It stars Danish actor Claes Bang (The Square, The Girl in the Spider’s Web) as Count Dracula, and is written by Sherlock’s Mark Gatiss and Steven Moffat. Directors hail from  WestworldKilling Eve, and Sherlock.

Dracula wrapped up filming in August and will air on BBC One and Netflix next year.
