The Genestealer Cults have a meticulously cunning plan which cannot fail. Take a look at one of the many stratagems lurking in The Greater Good.

The Genestealer Cults have it tough. Sure they’re empowered by psionic aliens who hail from outside the reaches of the galaxy and wish to consume all that they come across, but aside from the genetic enhancements, they don’t have a lot going for them. They’re undersupplied, undertrained, and they have to work with mining and industrial equipment. If they’re to conquer the forces of the Imperium, they  have to hit them where it hurts. And as we’ll see in the next chapter of Psychic Awakening, The Greater Good, they’re prepared to do exactly that.

Today we’re taking a look at one of the many new stratagems that appear in The Greater Good. This was posted up on GW’s Facebook page earlier today, and it hints at some of the cunning tricks the GSC will be able to employ once the book is out. Heart of the Creed works off of your Primus’ Meticulous Planner ability, letting you pick an extra target for destruction. With two primus, you can pick your three biggest threats, and then go for them with confidence thanks to your re-rollable wounds. It’s another very finessable tool in their arsenal of extremely finessable tools.

Now making the most of it means picking your targets carefully, but hopefully this will lead to some devastating cult ambushes and the overthrow of the hegemonic Imperium in favor of the four-armed emperor who just wants everyone to come together and be one big happy family.

Sure it might be a family of consumable biomass, but hey, what family isn’t? Be on the lookout for more GSC rules previews as the week wears on.

But for now, what do you think of the new stratagem? Let us know in the comments!
