Forge World might be the home of Titans and resin – but there are some surprisingly great Xenos units that aren’t battlefield titans. Check these out.

When you think of Forge World you might not think of their non-Titan options for 40k. But, surprisingly enough, there is a selection of Xenos options that are actually pretty useful. We’ve picked 5 units that are worth a look if you’re playing their respective Xenos faction. They might not look like a huge threat on the battlefield but they are super useful nonetheless!

Remora Drone Stealth Fighters

What’s so great about these little guys? Well – they are cheap! They are also tougher than you think with a toughness of 5 and 3 wounds each. On top of that, they are also hard to hit with the fly keyword – so it might take a little bit more firepower to down them than your opponent thinks. But what’s really nice is their Stealth Protocol rule which allows them to deepstrike at the end of any of your movement phases. Sneaky Sneaky!

Avatar with Spear

Sometimes you just need a better looking model for your army and this one is it for the Avatar. Not only is this one bigger, it also comes with a sweet spear! Why is this useful? Because it looks way cooler than the current model – and that’s a good enough reason for us.

Grot Tanks

Grot Tanks? Heck yes! Why? Not only are they kinda cute, but they are tough for Grots and can pack a decent amount of firepower. And, as Grots, they can actually hit with it. They can also randomly go pretty fast! With good shooting, tougher armor and a random speed they will keep your opponents guessing. Worth it!

Tyranid Malanthrope

Short of a bio-titan, the Malanthrope is perhaps the best offering for the Tyranids from Forge World. It’s an HQ choice, a character with 9 wounds, and has some nasty buffs. It also received some more buffs in the FAQ which made it better (added 5, made the Shrounding Spores better, and dropped its power rating). Surprise – it’s actually really useful!

Necron Seraptek Heavy Construct with Singularity Generators

Okay, I couldn’t make a list about Forge World without including at least ONE big kit. The Necron Seraptek Heavy Construct is a really cool looking kit and its singularity generators pack a heck of a punch. You could go with the other options – hey, it’s up to you. I just think the model looks great and it can hold its own with Toughness 8, 28 wounds and all the necron tricks it has.
