Okay, Someone had to do it! Is that a miniature of the Tiger King that I see? Tiger King Miniature or not, I detect some likeness and similarities to Mr. Exotic.

The images in this post are some previews from Westfalia Miniatures’ next installment of The Darkest Crate. I stumbled across these miniatures on their Facebook Page. All of the images in this post are from that page. Without any further ado, let’s take a closer look at these figures by Westfalia Miniatures.

The Darkest Crate

The Darkest Crate are Dungeons and Dragons 5E compatible products by Westfalia Miniatures. In these packages, you get miniatures, a 5E booklet, rules, and even a surprise in the box, or at least that is what the first package contains. The Tiger King miniature that we see here is in the next Darkest Crate, which I expect to see released in the next few weeks.

Tiger King

Here we have the Tiger King in his Human form. I expect that he will be cast as a 32mm miniature because that is the size of miniatures in the first “The Darkest Crate.”

Wait, wait, wait. Does the caption above claim that is “the Tiger King in his Human form?” Yes, it does!!! Our character here, I am going to call him Joe, is apparently a shapeshifter of sorts. He also comes with a Rakshasa version miniature.

A Rakshasa version of Mr. Exotic.

What is in the Crate?

Now, I don’t know what exactly this upcoming Darkest Crate has is in store for 5E explorers, but I know it includes a Tiger King Miniature and a Miniature of the Tiger King in Rakashasa form.

One thing that we know from the first Darkest Crate is that these typically come with four 32mm miniatures. So far, we have only seen two miniatures in the upcoming set. That makes me wonder if we might see his adversary Carole end up taking the same form. Perhaps the other minis will be other characters from the show. Time will tell.

These miniatures should be released in just a couple of weeks. My next thought is, “oh, I wonder what the adventure would be like that includes this miniature.” Do the heroes have to explore a cat zoo? Maybe they are investigators that have to smooth over the hostilities between two factions. Who knows what craziness might ensue when you bring these figures into your game.

Also, how many people might also bring these figures into their other games, like Frostgrave? It certainly could make for an interesting addition to your armies. I believe the only way to get him is through The Darkest Crate.

Wrapping it up…

Westfalia Miniatures seems to be very active on their Facebook Page with preview images of their upcoming projects. If you search around their website, you could even find a place to sign up and get free halfling miniatures as STL files for 3D Printers. I don’t own a 3D printer yet, but I signed up there to start building an STL library.

They also have a Kickstarter project going for some great looking miniatures based on the Archer Inventive. That is on top of multiple other projects – Including this Darkest Crate containing a miniature of the Tiger King. Also, as an interesting piece of trivia, Westfalia is one of the many companies in Canada producing miniatures and miniature gaming products. There is a surprising amount of talent up here in the North.

Hopefully, you enjoyed this post. If you did, please tell us in the comments and also let us know what you think of the preview images.

Thanks again for reading, and until next time, Happy Gaming Everyone!!!
