From the gangs of the underhive to the mighty Titan legions, there’s something for everyone in the grim darkness of the distant future.

A big swath of new release next weekend as Games Workshop unleashes another specialist games wave, with Necromunda getting the House of Iron and associated new goodies, Adeptus Titanicus seeing the release of Crucible of Retribution, and Dark Angels getting new Forge World models for use in Horus Heresy games. There’s a lot to dig through so let’s dive right on in.

First up, House of Iron. This is the book that will put more Orlock in your life. Fans of Necromunda Underhive will find a release full of brand new fighters, wargear, tactics–and of course new models to join the gangs of Orlock: the arc hammer-wielding, gang-coordinating Arms Masters, and the daredevil Wreckers. Also a couple of cyber-mastiffs.

Sadly, Warhammer 40K remains one of the few games where you cannot pet the dog. In the grim darkness of the distant future, there appear to be no good boys, and the world is worse off for it. Not once in 9 Editions or countless expansions have you ever been able to pet the dog, and we are poorer for it.

Depressing truths about the game aside, you can also grab a new bit of Zone Mortalis terrain, this time it’s a Gang Stronghold. If you want to add some elevation to your life, this is for you:

Adeptus Titanicus is also getting a new release up for pre-order this week, Crucible of Retribution.

This narrative expansion “explores the war for the Belt of Iron.” Mostly this means you get a few flavorful legios included in the book alongside rules for new scenarios and maniples and the like.

Finally for those of you who play Horus Heresy, the Dark Angels are getting some gorgeous new models from Forge World: Legion Deathwing Companions.

These are the ultimate knights in the Dark Angels, and they will be able to keep your best characters alive while looking stunning on the battlefield.

All this, next week!
