I always wondered how they got out of the cage. The Games Workshop Rumor Engine Day 12 Advent Mode teaser explains all!

It’s 24 days of sneak peeks from Games Workshop thanks to the Rumor Engine’s new Advent Mode. You can check out the previous day’s sneak peek here. And now, let’s get to the new one!

“Welcome to the Advent Rumour Engine! As a Christmas gift, we’re revving up the Rumour Engine to offer a tantalising glimpse at future Warhammer models every day in the run up to Christmas.

Take a look behind today’s window and join us on the Warhammer 40,000 and Warhammer Age of Sigmar Facebook pages to share your guesses. Then come back tomorrow for another mysterious image – and no cheating by trying to open a window early!”

I knew those two lab rats where smarter than your average mice. Brain was clearly giving the orders but Pinky here was the one executing – typically with mixed results. At least this time he’s got the key and that’s how you know those two were up to the same thing they would do every night.

Oh wait, this isn’t a teaser for the Animaniacs Reboot? It’s a preview for an upcoming Warhammer model? Oh…I was wondering why Pinky looked so much more life-like, almost statuesque.

“What? Someone mention a statue? Pfft….fugetaboutit.”

On a more serious note (as serious as plastic miniature previews should be anyhow), anytime we’re dealing with Rats in Warhammer, my mind immedately goes to Skaven. I mean, they are rat-men.

They occasionally have little tiny rats that also run around with the larger vermin. So it’s not 100% for sure a Skaven mini, but hey, if you’re going to make a guess that’s a pretty strong contender. And speaking of guesses this is where you come in. If you’ve got a guess what this is for then we want to hear about it in the comments section. It’s part of the fun!

So what do you think – what is this model a preview of? And don’t say “someone trying to take over the world.”
