Slaanesh has some brand new Unique Champions heading to the tabletop. Check out the insides of Sigvald and the Lord of Gluttony!

We maybe in a snowpocalypse along with a pandemic but I’m here to show off some of the new Games Workshop kits (thanks to the powers of video!) One Sigvald and Glutos Orscollion, coming right up:

Thankfully, I got record these before we were running on fumes for power. Anyhow, let’s talk about those models! And speaking of models, how about one that could give a runway model a run for their money – Sigvald!

Sigvald, Prince of Slaanesh

Hopefully, by now you’ve seen this model in all it’s glory. Cause if nothing else, Sigvald’s got a great kit:

He’s stupidly simple to build and is also pretty easy to use on the tabletop – point him at a target and let him go to town. The kit itself is only 2 sprues and, again, super easy build.

He’s even got a fancy base to match (although nothing really matches Sigvald’s magnificents …right). I actually think this is going to be one of those kits folks will use for painting competitions. I also think you could use it as the base for a LOT of super rad conversions. Either way, I’m sure we’ll see lots of these hit the tabletop eventually.

Lord of Gluttony

Glutos Orscollion, Lord of Gluttony is kind of the exact opposite of Sigvald. Not only does he let others do a lot of the fighting, he’s also pretty lazy…not to mention rotund where Sigvald is slim and athletic. No wonder these two don’t like each other. His kit is also very different. And large…

Also coming on two sprues this kit is packed! There’s loads of stuff going on with this model. And if you’re going to try and tackle this as a paint job, I HIGHLY recommend you do sub-assemblies for this model. You can basically do the chariot and all the characters separately. Maybe don’t attach the umbrella either.

That said, it does some pretty amazing details. I’ve built quite a few kits in my day and this is one that looks a little intimidating. At least to paint. I don’t envy whoever wants to paint this one up – but more power to you! You’ll find all sorts of different types of materials to paint – from the exposed skins, to the metals and woods, to the marble chariot. Even the cloth and bone, and…well, you get the idea. It’s a LOT. which seems fitting for a model for the Lord of Gluttony.

Both of these great kits are up for pre-order from GW right now. They will be in stores this weekend!

Hopefully we’ll be back in action by then…
