Coming March 26th, the newest wave of Challenger Decks will arrive, bringing with them pre-constructed, ready-to-play, if underpowered, fun.

WotC and Good Morning Magic have unveiled the latest Challenger Decks, due for release March 26th. If you’re unfamiliar, Challenger Decks are pre-assembled decks that revolve around a different strategy, and each is intended to be ready to play competitively. Though, that’s competitively at a local level–these won’t win you any GTs, but you might take home a pack or two at FNM.

Arriving March 26, the latest Challenger Decks release brings updated approaches to start playing Standard with strategies ready to succeed.

Four different 75-card decks—each featuring a different strategy—are ready to play out of the box wherever the Standard challenge awaits. Each Challenger Deck comes with a complete 60-card main deck and a 15-card sideboard, plus five double-sided tokens that you’ll want to have on hand when you head into battle.

These decks are intended to be playable and competitive at a local level, ready to challenge friends and foes alike. All cards will have been previously printed in Standard and are Standard-legal.

The full list for each of these decks is below. But one thing fans have noticed is that these decks tend to lag behind the current meta–notably, you won’t find any pathway lands or popular playmakers like The Great Henge, which many were hoping to see considering the return of popular cards like Embercleave. The real reason to be into these sets though is that they herald the triumphant return of my personal favorite card: Shark Typhoon.

Here are the decks:

You’ve got a Blue/White control, with Emeria’s Call and Shark Typhoon, making this objectively the best one.

A classic Dimir deck with Rankle for extra trickery.

Mono-red, because you can’t go wrong with mono-red. Especially when you’ve got Shatterskull.

And a big stompy deck which shows off why Turntimber can be devastating.

What do you think of the new decks? Let us know in the comments
