Warhammer: New Model Monday – Adeptas Sororitas Dogmata
The Sisters of Battle are getting a new model. Meet the Adeptas Sororitas Dogmata!
It’s Monday which means it’s time for a new model showcase from Games Workshop. This time we’re looking at a new model coming to the Grimdark and it’s a holy warrior from the Sisters of Battle. The Dogmata is kind of like a Chaplain, but for the Sisters. Take a look!
“In a similar manner to a Chaplain of the Adeptus Astartes, a Dogmata is the personification of righteousness, leading her fellow Sororitas in war hymns as she advances stoically into battle. Yet, she’s more than just a spiritual exemplar. A Dogmata holds the power to condemn any Sister to join the Repentia – or, worse still, be consigned to a Mortifier – to seek atonement or redemption in death.”
That is quite the glare she’s giving off. But if going into battle without your helmet isn’t your thing then you’ll be glad to learn she’s coming with an alternate head option, too:
We don’t have a timeline on when the Dogmata will be released – but the model is done so it’s only a matter of time. She’ll probably be a part of the next big Sisters of Battle wave that is coming at some point in the future. They have a lot of new models on the way to help fill some holes in their line-up. We recently got the Palantine Model from Piety and Pain. Perhaps we’ll see a solo release for that model along side the Dogmata, too…
The End of New Model Monday?
Warhammer Community had mentioned that New Model Monday was slated for the month of March. Well, we’re in the last week of March now which means this is the last New Model Monday. Bummer. I really liked seeing the full models and thought it was a nice thing to look forward to at the start of the week. Who knows, maybe if we go to GW’s Warhammer 40,000 and Warhammer Age of Sigmar Facebook pages and tell them how much we’ve all enjoyed New Model Monday, they might bring it back…
