Can you play the Jazz Flute? I think this Warsong Revenant can probably play some pretty fancy tunes with that flute. Check it out!

The Mortal Realms are getting into some experimental music or at least the Sylvaneth are! Time to bust out your pipe and play along with the new Warsong Revenant.

“In the upheaval caused by the events of the Broken Realms saga, Alarielle has been hard at work scouring Ghyran, the Realm of Life, from the taint of Chaos. When the Everqueen sings a song of cleansing at the Oak of Ages Past, something entirely new springs from the roots.”

That is a crazy looking model. Let’s take it from the top down. First up, this Warsong Revenant has a weird wooden post above it’s head with eggs on top. And what the heck are they hatching? I’m guessing it’s forest spites. Either that or Tyranids.

Moving downward, we get a look a that massive flute. That is a flute, right? It’s not like this model is roughly 6 days late or anything, right

I think it’s just funky tunes this Warsong Revenant kicks out, otherwise he’d only be legal in 34 states in the US. I do wonder what sorts of songs he plays are and what type of sound a flute shaped like this would make.

The rest of the model is really interesting to look at as well. He’s got a fancy cloak of leaves, his legs are wood, and it looks like he’s got a sword on his back. The base looks just as impressive with a massive growth coming out of the ground – plant vines wiping around. This model is going to be a challenge to paint with all those different textures and materials to paint up. Should be fun!

We don’t know what he’ll do on the tabletop but it’s a pretty safe bet that he’s going to buff your units that are nearby with his funky jams. I, for one, welcome our new pipe-playing tree-fiend overlord.
