There might be a pause on new releases for a bit but there are quite a few things still on the way for Warhammer 40,000!

Earlier this week Games Workshop announced they were going to have to halt doing new releases for a bit. While that is a bummer they have accumulated quite the backlog of products heading to stores near you – and we’re just talking about new 40k releases not everything. Let’s go through a quick check list, shall we?

Sisters of Battle

 Celestian Sacresants

Paragon Battlesuits

Castigator

And these are just a few of the kits that have been confirmed so far. There has to be a book that these are going to get released along side – either a campaign book of some kind or a new Sisters Codex.

Adeptus Mechanicus

New Codex

Skitarii Marshall

The Adeptus Mechanicus Codex was announced and is slated as the next codex to get a release. So far, we’ve seen the new Skitarii Marshall model and a bunch of new rules for them. Will we see even more models or other surprises from the Ad Mech? At this point, it’s still too early to know. But we’ll be watching…

Orks – Beast Snaggas

New Beast Snagga Boy(z)

New Squighog Riders

New Beast Snagga Unit Teasers:

Warboss

Uhh…Whatever this thing is!

New Doc?

And again, they have to get a rules update from SOMEWHERE. Oh and lets not forget there were also teasers from the launch party that we’re still waiting on…

Those could just be additional sculpts for the Beast Snagga Boyz. So yeah – Orks are due for an update as well. So when will that arrive? Time will tell.

More Marines and Necrons

And finally we have a pair of products that have officially been slated for a May 2021 release – the Heavy Intercessors and Flayed Ones.

That’s a LOT of products still waiting for a release and in the pipe with who knows how much more in various stages of production, too. There’s probably other 40k releases we’ve skipped because it’s honestly hard keeping track of what’s been announced and shoved off to the side (for now). And AGAIN, we’re not even talking about ALL the different product lines that are also getting new releases – so there’s plenty of stuff that GW has in the pipeline. I’m sure once they get over the delay hump the product hose is going to blast the shelves with all the plastic kits they can handle. So take a break and finish up whatever projects and armies you’ve got now because the next wave will be here before you know it.
